Virtus.pro Staff Cup #1 announced

The Virtus.pro organisation has announced the first Global Offensive Staff Cup, set to take place in mid-November.

We know pro players have skill, but what about the people behind the scene? Come next month, you'll have your answer, as the managers, coaches, writers, streamers and others from some of the biggest eSports organisations in Europe and the CIS battle it out in the Staff Cup #1, organised and hosted by Virtus.pro.

The draw will be announced on November 8, giving all teams a chance to confirm line-ups and prepare. The best-of-one group stage will run on November 15-16, while the playoffs, which will be a best-of-three, are set to take place the following weekend, on November 22-23.

Twenty teams so far have agreed, or asked, to participate, though applications are still open. All staff are allowed to compete, including former professional players, provided they have not played in a professional capacity for at least six months.

At stake is not only pride and bragging rights, but a share of the $1000 prize pool as well, thanks to Virtus.pro, do be divided amonst the first, second and third placed teams as follows:
