PENTA complete ESEA S24 GC list
PENTA Sports have secured the final spot at the ESEA Season 24 Global Challenge event after easing past Spirit 2-0 in the European third-place decider (16-3 on Mirage and 16-4 on Inferno.)
With BIG and GODSENT already through to the Global Challenge after reaching the final of the European bracket, the third regional spot at the $50,000 event was contested between the losing semi-finalists, PENTA and Spirit.
zehN put in a great display against Spirit
The Russian team, who fielded Aleksei "NickelBack" Trofimov as a stand-in after recently parting ways with Anton "tonyblack" Kolesnikov, posed no threat to PENTA, who conceded just seven rounds in total before walking out 2-0 winners, thanks to strong individual displays from Jesse "zehN" Linjala and Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend.

BIG and GODSENT will face off on April 17 in the grand final of ESEA Premier's European division, with the winner securing a spot in the next ESL Pro League season.
